project 366 {week 52}
I'm done! I'm done! I'm done! I made it through my entire Project 366 with only a few slip-ups. And oh my goodness it is such a relief. There is part of me that wants to say I'll NEVER do something like this (especially with a toddler) again, but the other part of me loves looking back through all the photos and seeing just how much Ryann has grown. So we'll just have to see.
I like the idea of some sort of photo project, but I'm not in the mood to start one now. I guess 2013 will be a bust in that department, but I have a feeling there won't be shortage of photos of my kiddos. Bring on squishy baby pics! Not to mention I'm falling in love with my new camera and lens. What to do, what to do...

project 366 {week 49}
First, let us take notice of the fact that I am finally caught up on this little project. THANK GOODNESS. I wasn't sure I could convince myself to get it together, but I've hunkered down and
Ryann got to open the Little People Nativity Set as one of her advent activities. She then proceeded to tie up the different figures with the string from her yo-yo and ask me to save them. Oy.
This week she has become OBSESSED with drawing, coloring and writing letters. Her brain seems to have exploded with some sort of fine motor development and understanding of making pictures and letters. It has been crazy to watch. The only problem? She is her mother's daughter. She is frustrated because she can't write all the letters or do it just write or draw a damn kitty cat when she wants to draw a kitty cat. We keep tell her she is doing amazing and all this stuff just takes practice, but we eventually have to redirect her because she is so upset that she can't get it right. Poor girl.
And quite possibly the highlight of my week was Ryann getting to meet Sarah's sweet little girl, Collins. Ry is taking to babies more and more and it is making my heart explode. She was just so sweet holding Collins. We kept asking her if she wanted to be done and have Sarah take her back. Nope, not at all. She loved holding her. Even when Collins immediately filled her diaper :o). Later when Ryann talked about it she said, "I liked holding Baby Collins. But she was a little squirmy!" So freaking cute. I can't wait to see her holding her sister.

So Ryann's bad habit (besides picking her nose and lips, ugh)? Sitting in the 'w' position. Most younger children will move in and out of this position while playing. She sits in it constantly. We are trying to break the habit, because it can be really bad for the knees and hips and a list of other things, but she still gravitates towards that position. Really hoping we can get her to stop!
And I really need to try and make a gif of her little pajama dance party. Girl has got quite the hip action :o).

project 366 {week 47}
So that Santa? He is pretty creepy. You really don't get the full affect from that picture. But I freaking used to LOVE that thing. As in slept with it when I was little at Christmas time. I have no idea why. He isn't soft and squishy or anything either. Just a big ol' hard plastic creepy Santa. When my mom got out the Christmas decor she brought it in to Ryann and told her that I used to like it. Ryann asked us to take it out of the room. Apparently she has more sense than I did.
And I obviously didn't take the last picture. I apparently didn't take any pictures of Ryann on my big camera that day (which is too bad, her outfit was pretty awesome. but i got it on the phone, no worries). But Ry was in that picture (plus a few others) and I love that one. Us girls? We pretty much can't take a 'normal' picture. I have no idea what we were laughing about. Probably just trying to get Ryann to smile. Sorry Christopher and Dad, this makes me even more excited that we are bringing another little girl into the mix. I wouldn't say all us girls always get along, but we can definitely have a good time. And I love them.

project 366 {week 46}
Meh. Kind of a craptastic picture week. And I missed the 16th. But memories captured people, memories captured.
