So, these shoes are cute. They look adorable. But they sound like a squeak toy. Yes, the shoes squeak when walked on. Which is fun in theory, but I'm guessing the parents who purchased these weren't planning on hearing them for 8 hours out of the day.
I love this kid, and yes the shoes are fun. But please remember if you send your kid to preschool or daycare, their teachers are the ones who will be enjoying the squeaking ALL DAY LONG.

I've seen (and heard) them in public which is a good idea so you know where your kid is (though really annoying to everyone else). But I absolutely can't imagine putting them on a child all day long or when they are at home/school/anywhere they are not in danger of getting lost.
My parents-in-law got them for our oldest one and we put them on her when we went grocery shopping. Gosh, it was soooo annoying and other people were giving us dirty looks ;-) I took the squeaking part out since the shoes themselves are pretty cute.
After they didn't fit anymore I put them away in a box and both of my other daughters will never know that they exist ;-)
Hahha, oh my goodness. That is totally the kind of thing I could see slipping past quality control. How annoying!
