hello shutters

We painted the shutters yesterday.  Here is the before:

And the lovely after.

We actually decided to not go with black, but a very deep brown.  And what do you know, they came out  looking black.  That doesn't really bother me though.  Its because the shutters are never actually in the sunlight.  The color in sunlight is definitely brown.

On the agenda for today?  Yard work, and possibly installing the new outdoor light.  Fun stuff!
