I saw this cookie recipe over on Eighteen25, and decided I had to try it. I love peanut butter, I love chocolate, and heart shapes make everything cuter.
They tasted absolutely delicious. Mine of course didn't turn out near as cute as the ones the girls over at Eighteen25 made, but I still ate several of them. The main problem? The chocolate heart starts to melt, quickly. And doesn't look like a heart anymore. If you can make room in your freezer to slide your wire rack in, do it. I could only squeeze them in my fridge, and didn't read that part until after I had already turned a batch of cookies in to a chocolate puddle covered mess.
I love the heart shaped chocolates. What a great twist on a classic cookie.
Enjoy!

yum! Those look amazing!
Oh man those look so good. I'll have to give those a whirl one day.
I've made these before, without the hearts, just with normal Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. They are a childhood favorite of mine! I could eat them everyday! I do put my Reese's in the freezer beforehand; they still melt, but not quite as fast.
