A few photos from his party. I have some delicious little dessert recipes that I need to share!
do you see the stink eye she is giving in this one? :o)
An itty bitty blonde girl was trying to be the life of the party...
Chris's grandma found this adorable little patio chair at a garage sale for a quarter!
what? no, I didn't try some of daddy's cupcake...
We actually spent a good chunk of time before Chris's hooding ceremony in the stairwell at the Lied Center. There were tornadoes possibly heading our way, so the whole thing ended up starting a little late. We did learn that night, that if Ryann is tired enough you can indeed transfer her from the car to her crib after she has been asleep without much of a fight. Good to know!
she wasn't sure what to think about his hat. so we got this look whenever he was wearing it.
getting his giant diploma!
Sunday morning we headed back to Lawrence to watch Christopher walk down the hill on KU's campus. He had a pretty good time...
This my friends, is how doctors celebrate lots and lots of hours of studying and tests and schooling and...
Chris smelled like a bad frat party :o). But he had a great time, and I'm pretty sure almost everyone was impressed with their champagne skills. Keep in mind when I graduated they hadn't moved the med students to a little section of their own. And being the unsuspecting person I am, was sitting right in front of them. I too walked out of my KU graduation smelling like cheap champagne.
Congratulations Christopher. I really couldn't be more proud of you.

Congrats to your husband! Hope y'all have a wonderful holiday weekend with the graduation (and the threat of being covered in champagne) in the past.
Have a great day!
Congrats to your hubby! What an accomplishment! I love her face regarding the hat! Too cute!
Awww... congrats to Mr. Domestic Wannabe ;) That's awesome!
idk if it's pregnancy hormones or what, but this post made me tear up a bit! congrats to your family!
Congrats! Such a big accomplishment, and something for you both to be so proud of. Not everyone realizes the sacrifice it takes on the wife's part too. :) My husband did a family residency also and I'm praying it goes as fast for you guys as it did us. Is it still 3 years or has it changed to 4? I remember there being some talk of it but didn't know if that ever happened. Anyway, love the pics of Ryann too! Her expressions crack me up. :)
Yay!! Pass on the congrats. So exciting!
